Mr. Kavanagh was initially a member of the Berg Enterprises Industrial Division prior to its merger with The Blau Company in 1974. He has more than 20 years experience dealing in office and industrial real estate and has even worked as a construction subcontractor. As Blau & Berg's Executive Vice-President, Mr. Kavanagh has represented many clients in site selection, disposition, and in new construction projects.

A graduate from St. Peter's College, he received his J.D. from Rutgers University and was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1974. In 1990 Mr. Kavanagh played an active role in the acquisition of The Blau & Berg Company from Primerica/Margaretten and is currently a principal in the firm. He is now pursuing a designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) from the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute (CIREI) at New York University.
