Joan's work experience began with a ten-year stint with Engelhard Corporation as secretary of the prestigious Export Department. By the time she left the corporation Joan had been elevated to become the executive secretary to Engelhard's General Sales Manager.

In 1979 Joan joined The Blau & Berg Company as a secretary and has since become a valuable member of the firm. She currently holds two important positions: she is the President and CEO's Executive Assistant as well as the company's Office Manager and is tasked with the duty of ensuring that the company functions smoothly on any given day.
