Ms. Hermann's real estate experience includes appraisal and consulting for Fortune 500 companies as well as commercial brokerage, with a specialty in the sale and leasing of industrial property.

She received a B.A. from Smith College and an M.S. in Architecture from Columbia University, specializing in the Adaptive Reuse of Obsolete Properties. She has taken educational courses given by the Real Estate Institute of New York University, SIOR and the Appraisal Institute. As an appraiser and a consultant, Ms. Hermann worked in nearly all markets in the U.S. She currently focuses her efforts in the northern part of New Jersey.

Ms. Hermann is an active member of the local chapter of ICREW (Industrial/Commercial Real Estate Women) and the IOREBA (Industrial Office Real Estate Brokers Association of New York Metropolitan area). She has been appointed mediator by the Superior Court of the State of New Jersey and at present is actively involved with the Columbia University Club of Northern New Jersey, the Bicycle Touring Club of Northern New Jersey and is Co-Chairman of The Business and Professional Division of the UJA Federation of Bergen County.

Ms. Hermann is currently involved in site selection for retail development and the adaptive re-use of older, multi-story industrial buildings for housing.
